As I was walking through the clearance section with a customer a few days ago...
Customer: (pointing to the sign in front of us) Buy one, get one free? What does that mean??
Me: (reading the sign outloud) Well, you buy one...and then you get one for free.
Customer: Really???!!
Me: No, I'm lying.
Customer: Oh.
Me: ...........I'm kidding.
Customer: Oh! (laughs) so if I buy one I can get one for completely free??!!
Me: Yes, (pointing to the sign again) buy one, get one free.
Does "buy one, get one free" ever mean something else? Is there some kind of secret, underground store where the sale signs say "Buy one, Get Nothing Free!"

Never underestimate the stupidity of the general public... have you switched the signs around just for s&g's yet? You have to do it! I am contemplating writing a blog of my own about my office, it's awesome! On friday afternoon I judged a chocolate snack pack eating contect between my two interns! Life is amazing, you never know what the day will throw at you!
